BENGALURU: Bengaluru-based realty firm Nitesh Estates has roped in India's cricket sensation Virat Kohli as its brand ambassador. "Kohli as our brand ambassador reflects our enthusiasm, passion and energy to stride ahead towards the future," Ashwini Kumar, executive director and chief operating officer of Nitesh Estates said. Kohli said he is proud to be associated with Nitesh Estates. "The company in many aspects reflects the values I hold in high esteem," he said. The city-based realty major has 22 million sqft under development. Last year, Nitesh Estates has signed a $250 million partnership with Goldman Sachs, where the former will own and operate commercial real estate assets in the country. Goldman will hold 74%, leaving the city-based Nitesh Estates with 26% in the JV entity with plans to acquire rent-yielding office parks, shopping malls and luxury hotels. The real estate firm has many firsts to its credit. Nitesh Estates was one of the first developers in India to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) in real estate with investors like Och Ziff, Apollo global capital, Citigroup Property Investors, Goldman Sachs. Nitesh Estates brought the first Ritz Carlton to India.
